Self-Relevance

"Make it about them." The lever that aims every engine at one person.

What it is Not a pull by itself, it aims the four engines at a specific person so they feel caught. The brain hunts for "me" (your name across a noisy room) and gives it attention + memory it gives nothing else.
The narrow-to-widen paradox Fewer people named = more pull. "Buat semua orang" calls no one. The tighter the call-out, the harder the right person feels seen.

Four ways to trigger "that's me"

1 · Specific-insecurity call-out"if you're [sore, specific fear]." "Takut keliatan cringe" > "introvert."
2 · Private-behavior mirrorDescribe a secret behavior so exactly they think you watched them.
3 · Name the identity"For you, the overthinker." Pair with a specific behavior so it bites.
4 · The confession they share"I [embarrassing specific thing]", they see themselves in you.

The three leaks

Fail 1: Too broadEveryone = no one. → Narrow it.
Fail 2: Not-meTrait too soft or wrong to sting. → Find the sore spot.
Fail 3: No payoffNamed them, but nothing behind it. → Aim a real engine, don't replace one.

Sweet spot: a specific, slightly sore "that's me" that aims a real engine at the exact person you're for.

Sources: cocktail party effect (Cherry, 1953), your name cuts through noise; self-reference effect (Rogers, Kuiper & Kirker, 1977), self-tied info is remembered better.
